Everything we have belongs to God!
When you search the ownership records in Texas you search it back to the original land grant of record which was the State of Texas and the Republic of Texas. Even further back there was the interest of Mexico, Native Americans and so on but if you kept going back you would have to end up at creation and the creator God.
I have a friend, Pastor Lo, who once told a story about how he took his granddaughter to McDonald’s and bought her a happy meal. He asked her if he could have one of her fries and she said “no”!
Pastor Lo told her “Hey I am the one that bought you all of those French fries and you can’t give me one back”?
Is that the way we are with God sometimes? He gives us everything and we can’t give a little back? Not just money but I am also talking about:
Time - He gave us another day to live!
Talents – If you are good at anything it is because he created you that way
Love – You love you children, parents, pets, family and people you like. But can you love the unlovable with the love God has given you to love the people you like?
